Let me tell you, Eryn and Josh are the kind of couple that makes you wish you were part of their inner circle. I mean, right from the start, I knew we were a match made in wedding planning heaven! It was like destiny was playing cupid with us, connecting the dots of our lives. Their connection with my now-husband's name, their dads sharing the same name, and the way they adored Asheville – it was uncanny!
But here's the kicker – Eryn wasn't even considering marriage until she met Josh. The universe must've sensed something extraordinary because their love story gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Picture this: they met while both serving in the air force. The odds of two people, not even in the same job, getting stationed in the same place are, well, rare. And yet, there they were, fate intertwining their paths.
As life would have it, Josh got deployed, and they thought that would be the end of it. But lo and behold, destiny had other plans. Plans that involved him returning and surprising Eryn at the airport with a ring! I mean, could this story be any more swoon-worthy?
Now, let's talk wedding planning. Given Eryn's initial disbelief in marriage, you can imagine how much fun we had creating her dream day. Her response to my question about the venue and vibe? "Um, we like the mountains and are thinking somewhere outdoors. Maybe Asheville?" BOOM! That's all I needed. Enter The Fields of Blackberry Cove, where Doug made them feel right at home.
Planning this magical day was an adventure, to say the least, with us coordinating from different corners of the map – Raleigh, Goldsboro, Mississippi and even over seas! But trust me when I say, it was some of the best times I've had.
The day finally arrived, and boy, was it perfect. The weather decided to play nice (take that, weatherman!) – a warm fall day with a refreshing cool breeze in the evening. Michelle Elyse Photography was our trusty sidekick, capturing every moment of their fairytale day. From the stunning venue to the exquisite details, she left no stone unturned.
And speaking of details, the whimsical touch of Wild Hands Florals was a dream come true. Greenery hanging from the patio lights gave us enchanted vibes, while the wildflower look in bottles perfectly represented the fun-loving souls of Eryn and Josh.

With our tummies full, it was time to dance the night away, thanks to Blazin' Sounds keeping the party spirit alive. And let's not forget the heartwarming ceremony, where Josh Hamilton and Eryn's brother serenaded us with acoustic guitar melodies.
